just had my first m.o.t with my golf,
im so happy only cost me ?90,
new side indicator bulbs,
new rear driver side brake bulb
welding of heatsheild on cat
battery had came loose,
nae bad for a 60,000 mile p plate!
when i grow up i want to be a VR6

Mine has cost me a little more than that so far but it is a 1989 (F Reg).

So far....

O/s wishbone complete (ball joint, bushes etc.) replaced @ ?65 fitted.

N/s ball joint replaced @ ?8

Starter motor replaced @ ?50

Both rear bushes replaced @ ?100

Both tie rods + track rod ends replaced @ ?40

Side repeaters cracked so replaced for led alternatives @ ?15

Tracking @ ?15

All in all nearly ?300  :'( ... but the car had been sat for well over a year and was given to me  ;D so basically it's cost me ?300 for the car.
