It's Relay number 10 under the glove box with the fuses, v easy to replace. I can email the diagram to you if you wish mate.? ;)? If your wipers won't turn off at all it's more than likely the stalk thats at fault.? Ps, if anyone needs Pdf docs on MK1's? I have a few on alot of area's, not all as good as haynes but some are very handy.

Shaun

If your mk1's got the MFA you'll need the wiper stalk with the MFA button on it.? My only advice would be to try your local scrappy, or ebay. i found this one for you but you'll have to ask the seller if it has the MFA button on it if you need it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=9889&item=2487230637&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Hope this helps? ;)

Sent you the relay diagram by the way.

Anytime mate, it may be worth just checking to see if the connection block into the stalk has come loose, I doubt it but worth a look.  Let us know the outcome and what you find.  if you're still having trouble let me know.
