Well the decision to swap out the Alloys and slam some Steels on has paid off already.

A " cobweb clearing drive lead to a dent on the nsr wheel ( managed to miss it with the front, just

)

So out came the hammer

Next up, some engine bay improvements

So a bimble ( read driving a tad hard ) to Silverstone ended up with a reduced selection of gears

and a larger than normal gate into the remain couple of gears

having limped to silverstone to watch son in law race his Bini, it turned out it was Mk2 Golf Gti Champs too

so mid bodge with the Ty Wrap and tape, over come a couple of the Mk2 racers to look over the car ( no sunroof - ideal race shell

) and see what was up

5 minutes later, a replacement part was forthcoming and all gears returned
