Well Clive has been on its first proper trip since purchase. . . . . . . .

the windscreen wipers screech with prolonged use.  :shocked:

the rear wiper is VERY intermittant.   :huh:

the rear parcel shelf creaks.  :angry:

the stereo is pants over 60  :rolleyes:

and the speedo over reads by 8 mph at 70 going by satnav  :laugh:

that said it got me down to ferry terminal and is now safely on the top deck of the G3  :grin:

It's not a Vectra.

No, but it brings the tone of the neighbourhood up, unlike a Vectra, which does the opposite.

Well a MASSIVE thanks to DH and Danny P, for the spannering

Mike 671 for the help in diagnosis

and Dave IOW for the Coffee



the inlet manifold was deffo blocked up





exolaing why the autochoke wasnt functioning



all rebuilt now, and some of the MESS of the engine plumbing sorted too, even if some is now BLUE  :lipsrsealed:

then the angle grinder came out  :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:



became



and after a quick adjustment of the throttle cable she is running sweet as a nut  :cool:
