Really pleased with these. They look and feel “factory fit”, if the factory could be bothered making the effort of course….

Yes, thats the link there that King Monkey posted. He does a few different styles, CS / CS 45 / GTI, etc. They're a bit pricey but they're well made, good quality and look very OEM. Took about 2 weeks from order to delivery.

I’ve only had my mk8 GTi 1 week but these sound interesting.

Where do you get them from and how much hassle is it to fit them?

Thanks

I bought some cheapo ones from AliExpress, only £14 so didn’t matter if I liked them! They work perfectly at the mo.

As far as fitting is concerned, they were an absolute doddle. Hardest thing was getting the mirror cap back on. It’s such a straightforward process.

Inspired by JoeGTI’s Clubsport motif inserts,  I ordered the sill inserts for my GTI from Marvparts.de on EBay. They are made to fit the indents in the sill and stick in with the supplied 3M tape. They are exceptional quality in aluminium and have a hexagonal motif on the background. Relatively expensive but top class.
