You probably know this, but go down a scrappy and get any old bonnet or door to practice on first.  Interesting youtubes:

i read a few reviews on some of the forums and they both seem to be well liked for the prices...

From doing a few cars menzerna is very easy to use on most paints, and requires much less work to break down. Also gives a much better result. I do like the megs #80 and #83 but i find my fav pad/polish combo usually has menz in it

The Menzerna RDS85 3.02 followed by final finish is my first choice BUT it can very very twitchy to temperature and humidity - so it'll be a dream on a warm sunny day, but can be a complete b!tch in the middle of winter! with the right technique, there is really nothing between menzerna and meg's pro range, though the 3.02 is absolutely ideal for most vag paints

i'd guess most enthusiasts will be doing the polishing and cutting in warmer weather

Has any body ever used this place...I found it looking for menzerna products! they seem to offer a good range and there cheap http://www.autoperfectionworld.co.uk/catalog/
The have a 100ml sample of RDS85 3.02 for £2.97 ( i usually buy from a place called three60 but they dont do that brand......)

well I've bought the following today.....

25mm x 50m 3M 3434 High Perform Masking Tape
Menzerna Intensive Polish PO85RD-3.02 100ml
Menzerna Final Finsh PO85RD 100ml
Menzerna Final Finish PO106FA 100ml
and 3 different pads....
oh and i have some collinite from last year (716 i think?)

and I've watched loads of video's....just need warmer weather and off i go!!

after the 3.02 you can go straight to the 106FA - just remember to work the polishes fully. have fun!
