Title: my LCR (project oem)
Post by: scottv6 on 24 July 2011, 16:30
thought it was about time i posted some pics of my new lcr,had it about a month now.
my plan is to keep it as oem as possible.

it came standard apart from bbs ch,stupid shark fin arial and think its been remaped.

my mods so far are.

bmc cda
dead pedal
new R badges
HIDs
mk4 golf arm rest
front and rear aero wipers

list to do.
boost gauge
nomad pillar pod
paint wheels gloss black
remove arial with standard one
audi s3 strut brace
samco boost hoses.

This may sound ridiculous but I don't remember ever seeing a red one on the road.

As a rule I don't usually like red cars but I like this a lot. 50/50 on the red rim lip. Maybe a little bit lower and I think it'll be perfect.

Love it.

Red cars are the best. Lowered and it'll be perfect.

I may sound a little mad now but the front of these especially when red looks a little Ferrari like with the lines down the centre of the bonnet into the Grille and Bumper.

That's what I'm thinking. Them lowering caps lower 10mm on the front but want to no if they fit on the back.

I had some on my Golf and they only did the fronts, they do work well. Not to sure how the LCR suspension setup is though  :undecided:

Title: Re: my LCR (project oem)
Post by: F17BAD on 29 August 2011, 20:27
i have the 007 on mine, currently running the yellow spring in it and i have a K&n induction kit thats relocated to behind the bumper

i never ran the car with the crap plastic bosch DV because i fitted the 007 when i installed the engine so i cant comment on how it was with the old one in place, but its a must have on any mapped AMK / BAM and im suprised yours has not already been changed. id do it now mate or as soon as money lets you

i get a great sound as it puts the air back into the induction kit, and i dont mean a silly chav Whooosh noise
