The front valance on my C is in tatters because it was low when I got it

they still scrape on things at standard height  it must catch on everything when lowered
-
they still scrape on things at standard height  it must catch on everything when lowered
yep, catch on litterally everything, small stones, cats eye etc etc  part of the reason im running the later spec splitter on mine.
but lets face it, standard height corrados need an oxygen supply to the cabin theyre so high.

well a good thing has happened
a van cut a roundabout and took the front wing and bumper out
been driving it around until i could get it into the bodyshop
had the wing repaired also had the changed the bonnet to the early one as my vr bonnet was dented
so that was painted along with both sides and the front bumper
looks a pretty tasty raddo now get some pics this weekend
only trouble i had is it is leakin water after it came out the bodyshop not sure if something has been knocked
rad weld sorted it out today
off to get some electrics done next week as they are a bit of a mess at the moment and i have a few issues
with them
driving home in the dark from the bodyshop i hit a huge pothole bent the wheel and put the abs light on but it seems to have fixed itself lol
but i might decide to keep it a little longer now or at least until my golf is on the road again

i have been followed a few times by the bobbys but they have never done anything i just dont indicate i dont think it can fail on reverse lights anyway they dont have to work on a mot

i will swap the grill over again take another picture just waiting for my tint removal then i will order some more lamiex up for the indicators
also doing the rear ligths half smoked, going on the rollers on saturday to get the co pot set up hopefully get a power run see how much it has lost over the years
-
had the g60 upto motorscope today got all the fueling set up properly as it was running way to rich had a power run on the rollers
managed to get engine 189.8 BHP
wheels 154.9 BHP
torque 180.6 lbft
i thought that was pretty good considering its done over 206k
he pointed out the front pipe and inlet have a slight leak
i will pop a couple of gaskets on when i get time
