Looks like Drivethedeal has the 8.5 now for ordering with 11-12% discount off list price.

That's a higher percentage discount than I was expecting.

It won't be enough for me to place an order though.  The 8.5 just isn't different enough from the Mk8.  I can't pay more money for what is substantially the same car.
