I've been away from the forum for a while so dunno if I've posted these on this thread yet, but here's my 8v gti that's had some mk3 transplant work done (the bonnet has been changed since this pic was taken!), and my Rallye with a round headlight front end that i put on it to pass an MOT a couple years ago (aint got any recent pics but will get some uploaded soon)

What's under the bonnet?

Why did you put the round lights on the Rallye?  You can swap the standard lights between LHD and RHD on the back of the unit.

DH, are you referring to the hump on the bonnet? its a reflection..

Not much extra under the bonnet really other than a 2.0L mk3 bottom end, a refurbished head and uprated cam.  Goes like stink!  The bonnet with the air-scoop was on it when I got her but the bonnet has been replaced with a standard one, just aint got a recent pic.

The Rallye's projectors were both f**kt, the lenses had frosted over and not possible to fix, so just lobbed that slam-panel and lights on to pass the MOT.  I'm still in need of a projector bulb-holder to get it through the next test, managed to source two projectors off ebay but one didn't have a bulb holder inside and I'm having a real nightmare sourcing one..
