Here's my 1988 GTi 20v turbo track slag.  :evil:

I've had it for about 3 years now, and bought it as a road car with the engine transplant already complete.

I converted it into a track day car and have had it re-mapped to 210bhp at the wheels. I could push it towards
240bhp, but don't want to loose it's reliability on track. Besides, it can already hold it's own against the likes
of a Porsche Caymen S around Oulton Park!  :grin:

my golf, dropped 60mm on snowflakes. suits me fine for now, it gets me to work everyday, and when i start earning some real money it'l be torn to bits to be transformed into something amazing.

Coil-overs KW variante 2 Inox
Stripped, weld-in roll-cage
Polybushes all round
Hydraulic clutch, 215mm
Gearbox from Passat AAZ, 02A
Copper brake pipes with braided lines
Brake balance adjuster in engine bay. Its the law here, can not be adjusted from cabin.
Big cooler from TDI
Mocal oil cooler with braided hoses
Oilpressure, oil/water temp meters. Original cluster ****ed up. Only speedo and odometer works
Tyres 205/50/15 Hankook RS-2
Castrol oils/fluids
I have no rimm fetish, so they are what they are, ugly but light.
