Where to buy Genuine mk8 GTI correct font floor mats

The part number you need is 5H2863011C. The 3rd character there (2) is important as it specifies RHD. The part number for LHD is identical barring that number (1 instead of 2).

If you Google that part number it throws up a few results, E.g.

The standard ones don't have the "GTI" tab. Also slightly less plush.

Yep this, I got slightly worn standard with red piping but no GTi tab, hence the ask!

Did you ask? Go into a dealers with the part number I've given above and they should be able to source them on the system and order.

I got these which don’t have the gti tab but do have red trim and a thicker / more plush than the standard ones (I bought these as my car came with lhd mats by mistake and I didn’t realise until I got home and went to put them in, but got them swapped so now using the plush ones and kept the originals in storage)

Nice, yeah I got those as standard with my clubsport, but they are looking very worn and tatty. I ordered the ones mention above a few posts ago, due to arrive next week so will be able to compare.
