I know what you mean Mate,

When I first got in mine, the driving position felt really strange, especially with the low roof  but after a very short time it felt really good.

the driving position is awesome. i like the way your arm rests on the handbrake when changing gear, makes it feel like a sportscar

im glad i have the early interior tbh, its more mk2 whereas the late interior is more mk3  plus you dont get the hump on the back seats with the late interior. i can tell the 5th person to f**k off and walk lol

I think the earlier interior rear bench looks a lot better than mine  :embarassed:. I know what you mean about the "sportscar" feel

I also found that you have to keep an eye on the speedo as the speed creeps up without you noticing

Today I received this..........

along with some other much needed parts  (because the snow was so bad, the guy had to leave his motor on the main road and walk up with it on his head )

Got to get it cleaned up and put it in as soon as I can find the car under the snow again

Well, today is a good day.

After doing a pre MOT check it was found that the lambda sensor was buggered  so a new one was sourced and put in. Then there was a problem  it seems as though the same guy who fitted the previous head unit had also fitted a lambda sensor

Big big thanks to rubjonny for his help with the wiring diagrams and all is well again. Also turned out that the car was running really rich when idling so some lumpiness has gone. This now means that the fueling is sorted with the Corrado and will be (hopefully) a little easier on the fuel

Now it has another 13 months MOT on it and I suppose I'll have to tax it as well now

Going to pop into work in the morning to get the car inside and sort the broken passenger door handle and the faulty drivers window

IIRC Mate,

The cat/lambda sensor were only introduced in 1992 so I would say you're in the clear with this

The guy I bought the passenger handle off was from the Corrado forum and he has the early handle as well because he brought both types with him when he delivered the seat etc. Goes by the name of raddo-tom.

Can't remember how much it was though now  :undecided:

This Morning I have fitted this........

So that the headlights do this.....

I also replaced the broken passenger door handle but pointless taking pics of that really.

The drivers side electric window still has me beaten.........but not for long
