Me yet again!!
Was I the only one really unimpressed when you opened your engine bay just to find what looks like the same looking bay as a bog-standard diesel engine bay?
They couldn't even be bothered to put GTI on the engine plastic!!
And bog-standard induction system like off a 1.6 petrol
Does the Clubsport or R have a better induction system we can just swap over without having to get something aftermarket ??
Thanks!

The Clubby/R engine layout is slightly different AFAIK.
Don't think anyone has talked about swapping some of the parts over ever either.
There aren't many Mk8 tuning parts available from third parties yet either.

I'm only interested in the clubby or R intake systems as they would look OEM still when my car goes in for work/servicing etc
Dont want anything need to tell the insurance after installing if that makes sense,
Does anyone know what actual changes they made to the Club Sport to enable the extra power apart from the engine tune itself?
Thanks

Different turbo I believe...

Ah that would make sense!
Are either forged internals?

Still looks like a bog standard intake off a 1.6!!!
Though I have taken the snow skirt out of the bottom of the air box
