Title: MK8 17" Alloys
Post by: pauliem on 19 October 2021, 10:53
Hi All,

I know this topic has been covered quite a bit. Just looking for confirmation really. Do you think these 17" wheels from a MK8 would fit on my Performance Pack GTI from 2013? I don't want to run on the standard wheels for winter, plus I would like to have them refurbished.

I think they look pretty nice.

The standard GTI wheels in other markets are 17 inch, 18's are optional.

As long as they have a 5×112 bolt pattern they should be fine.

They’ll fit fine.
7.5” wide with ET51 offset fits anything Golf badged from 2004 - 2021
The callipers will be very tight to the inside of the wheel barrel and inner faces of the spokes though.

@pauliem; also, don’t forget to factor in the effect that the wheel balance weights will have on further reducing any clearance between the brake callipers and the wheel barrel.
