So guys,
I bought a Gttdi 150 arl of Rfn_hodgson about a month ago.
The cambelt tensioner snapped so i had the entire head replaced, cam, tappets, new belt kit ect...
So the car ran again but smoking quite badly, had this diagnosed and it was put down to the injectors, they were replaced and the car ran fine for about a day, then it lost boost and the traction control light was coming on intermittently, cleaned the egr and that didn't solve anything, checked for boost leaks, there was non.
So after driving it down to the garage it lost power totally and there was a dentist drill noise and white smoke, turbo went.
Not really having much luck, good job i love the car.
So im going to buy a new turbo, oil/coolant feed lines and replace it.
Is there anything else i should do/replace to make sure this dosnt happen again.
Sorry for the lack of technical knowledge on diesel/boosted cars, im used to petrol carburetta engines.
