I wasn't planning on. However best thing I can suggest is for you to make an offer for people to see as lots of people are taking delivery anytime now

Trouble is anyone planning on fitting aftermarket alloys would have specced the 17's and those speccing the 2's will be intending to keep them.  Mk5 ones come up on ebay and forums from time to time (mk5 ones are the same except they have grey instead of black inserts) but often need refurbing due to the dreaded white worm issue...

Good luck.

I tried to get a set but failed. so went with some other aftermarket 19" bbs. Hard to get hold of a good set unless you want reps or are willing to pay the silly money they command :undecided:

Hi jdjd, I've just picked up mine and it's got standard Monza's but we really wanted the shadows but couldn't wait 3 months so grabbed whatever we could from VW. If you were interested we could do a number of things, straight cash deal or maybe p/x my monza's plus cash? Let us know what you think and if you are interested we can sort something out.

Many thanks

Dan

Order your car with Vancouver's so you will then have the 18" tyres, buy some Monza 2's over the counter, ( I am sure they would give you discount as your buying a new car!!), swap the tyres and then sell your Vancouvers (which are the optional 18" on the GT aswell) which will be brand new. Job done!!

Thanks for replies!
Yes I have specced the 18 inch vancouvers
my stealer would let me put Monza  II's on the GTD, I don't know why?
I wonder if there is some directive from VW???
I may go for Reps if cannot get any OEM - Wheelbase supplied but will look at them first.

Order the Monza 2's from the parts department, not from the sales guy. He won't let you order them as they can't be ordered from the factory on a GTD....
