I know what you mean, I've had to finish off the back bedroom before the bird comes back from Cornwall next week..... I'm still getting engine though.... Not told her yet....

What engines you got kicking around Rich?

Only 1.8 8v ones........mind you I've just thrown out an old Audi 5 cylinder 2.2 lump........Nothing wrong with it but just have no use/room for it :(

Looked a little closer at that tdi engine, even the "buy it now" at ?800 is an amazing bargain, considering what you get with it ! If thats a route you want to take i'd snap it up quick , i have a feeling it wont be available for long.

the TDI looks great, I'm emailing the person. I have no idea how the hell I would complete that conversion, but I think it might be a laugh to have a go... properly mean asking lots of help from people on VWVortex....!!!!

16v engine weber carbs is the sh!t mate ;)
street sleeper 8)

also look at the straight up 9A block out of the passat or Corrado, can easily be tuned up to 170+ bhp.

just out of interest, who are you going to get to do the conversion? ???
