i personally didn like drivin my cab as a daily, in the winter, due to the heater being a bugger.. :laugh:

Cabby Heaters Rock.. Kept my toes lovely on the trip up the M11 to Cambridge last night (roof down).

Anyway am going to send off the Estorils to refurb soon and was wondering what is the best size tyres for a Mk1 to keep the gearing as close to factory (on 185/60/13s ATM)

think you'll be needing 195 50 15's with that in mind - think thats what the Riv is wearing on the Castellets (will spell that right one day lol)

As for heating - it's all very nice but really you need to be considering heated leather for those roof down evening trips ;)

Yeah and add more wieght, like electric windows and a hydraulic hood...  :laugh:

Will have to invest in Coilies next month though...

Nothing wrong with a few 'special edition' features - especialy with the GTI engine up front ;)  :grin:

Can blokes pull off the cab look tho ? ive been looking at them more n more recently , probably due to the nice weather but not sure how id managed  :embarassed:

honest, gettin my cab warm in winter to defrost my windscreen was a nitemare..i drove to work with a 2x2 bit of the window that the heater had actuallly manged to defrost.. :grin:

I had a CC for a year a while ago and every summer have said, damn I wish I still had my Cabby.. so now I have (sort of). Just a work on the stance and wheels and get him looking tougher...
