Are you sere it's a digi ? A 1.8 92 Sportline cab would usually be a k-jet.

I had a J reg Rivage and that was a k-jet DX engine. Have a look at the sticker in the boot that's on the bar for the leccy hood with the paint code etc. It should say the engine code there if I rememeber correctly. Also, I think it should give you the engine code on the V5, but I can't remember 100%.
......now officially dubless.

Thanks for your input.. :-)

Im not with the car, Im out traveling... Hence Me not being able to look up the engine code :-)

Further, the car is not UK reg, and subsequently does not have a V5..

Digifant vs. Jetronic...... I take it all Jetronic cars have a fuel distributor, with the assosiated fuel lines going to the injectors???? Mine simply has an air meter, and a fuel line going directly to Electronic injectors . I might be wrong, but I think think this means its a Digifant car, like my G60........... or...?

This is a K-jetronic engine, correct?? If so, mine is a digifant.

I take it that's not your engine above then as that looks like a k-jet to me. If that is the case then you wont have a DX engine code. k-jets don't have an ECU as they are mechanical injection but the digi does.

Yeah, Red, why?
Because I only know of 1 other 2h engine in the uk other than mine and it belonged to a guy off the mk1 owners forum - can't remember his name but he was kind enough to copy his manual for these engines onto disc for me
Unless you are actually in Marbella..then it may be a different one

I dont think it's thats rare, VW did put the 2h engine on the cabs in later years for the US and European market.  In fact the cab has had quite a few variants in it's life.  What year is your car?  I found this which goes into a lot detail on this: http://www.cabby-info.com/engine.htm
