Hmmm.. So throttle bodys are prone to go then.. There not cheap to replace tho are they.. Better off getting a new one isn't it

Mine happens when warm to dave..seems happen a lot after a motorway journey.. Yh I have standard airbox still on.. Its only smoothed with pipercross filter.

yeah ive got CAI and thought was to do with amp, but think thats ruled out aswell then.

no fault codes for anything either

Fuel filter was changed 6000 miles ago. Ill change it again tho only cost few quid.. Nope got no fault codes.. Been checking weekly still nothing has popped up..

done mine today and started it up to check everything was ok, and idled great standstill but did that anyway.

ill let you know if thats cured it after driving.

Dave once I get my laptop sorted we'll do yours the proper way via VAG COM and see if that helps. If mine does this eventually it sorts itself out as I believe it's just the ECU working out what the idle should be...
