07 dsg gti r

Hello guys just bought a vw gti. The car has a r badge and r interior. But no outside r styling effect.  The car has a k&n intake and a dsg gearbox

do you guys think is it special edition or just a few stickers.

If its a GTI but has R badging them it will just be R badges and nothing more.

The GTI and R32 are two separate models.

Erm I thought gti did a gti r in mk6 thats what confused me as this is mk5 . Im not sure, I have owned the car a couple days.

As Rhyso says, its just stickers.

MK5 had the GTI, GTI ED30, GTI Pirelli and R32.

MK6 had GTI, GTI ED35 and R

Ah right. I thought it was the case.
The interior swayed my opinion with the r markings but the prev owner must have stuck them in too.

Dealer agrees not a r of any sort lol.
Last guy must have stuck the stickers on. That will be coming off.
Still pretty interested if the previous owner has modded the car further.  I know there is a k&n intake, is this standard with a 07 dsg gti. Proper dunmie questions I know just getting to know my new motor.

Nope, the K&N will have been added by the previous owner.
