I like the cabbys don't get me wrong - a friend has one, in fantastic condition red with mint exterior and a gorgeous white interior, but I just don't think they look as nice as the TinTops - that for me is the original MK1 look.

As a side note I don't think it's a look guys can pull the "cabby look" off unless you're young otherwise you just look like a tit because you can see the bald patch, receding hair line and the stomach  :grin:

They are nice in the weather though :)

Yeah I must be but getting promoted....
CC Cabby (apprentice) to GTi Skyrocket (Stylist) to Corrado 16v (manager).. hopefully get the VR6 and finalise my ownership of a chain of salons.. :laugh:

Seriously If I took any notice of what people thought was "cool" I'd be driving a Mk2/3 GiT...

It's good to be different.... I know  :tongue:

:laugh: I know.. just don't see why blokes are considered Hairdressers when buying a cab...

Also as you can see I don't exactly follow "the Norm" as far as vws are concerned...

That's pretty much why I sold mine. :laugh:

By the way, 195/50/15s were not the original tyre size on the le castelletes, they came from the factory with 185/55/15s, same size as the mk2s came out of the factory with, so if you're working out rolling radius and all that then start with that tyre size. :wink:
