seemed good. i mean they are obviously made on a budget because the whole point is to provide a cheap car in SA.

look damn odd tho with that big mk4 steering wheel and mk4 type airbag seats then a mk1 dash!

To be honest, apart from the obvious differences, I thought it looked OK. Having said that I didn't touch the thing so I have no idea how well the doors close and how solid it all feels.

man, if they made a 3door they would be flooding over here! imagine being able to buy a brand new 'modernised' mk1, put in the 20vT and off you go
