Its time to bring the old cab out for summer, but I need to pay attention to some cosmetic styling.

First of all I would like to lower my car a little more at the front, currently sitting on 30mm springs the back sits far lower than front. Does anyone have a set of 40mm springs they want to sell? Or better still height adjustable suspension. My wheels have an ET33 offset which means they fill the arches so maybe adjustables would be best.

Secondly, I want to fit a performance back box , which ones are best or most popular? I donÂ’t want bags of noise! But a sweet (yet beefy) note and preferably a single oval pipe.

Finally, I have seen some smoked headlights advertised on ebay – has anyone bought a set? If yes, do they fit ok?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated, in the meantime Happy Dubbing!!

Here is how she looks at the moment -

Hi Sham.

At the moment my trusted garage are in the process of putting a 30mm Boge suspension set (shocks & springs) onto my 89 Clipper.

It came off an H reg Cab so in theory it should be a simple swap out but if they have any problems and can't fit it to the car due to rubbing and the Clipper kit etc then the shocks & springs are up for sale - £80.

If its any use to you, you can have first refusal - just let me know.

Phil
