Ihasa Green Campaign how much is it worth?
« on: 08 August 2003, 16:08 »
I'm Possibly thinking of selling my Ihasa Green Mk1 and I just want an idea of what it should be worth.

Looks and drives brand new.
Owned the car since 1989
80k on the clock
2 owners
Only alterations from standard are:
full magnex stainless exhaust including manifold
K&N
16" stealth wheels as new
Spax RSX shocks
Drilled and grooved discs
Sigma alarm connected to central locking

I have also kept all the original parts, shocks, springs, P wheels etc
so the car can be returned to original very easily!

Anyone got an idea!

Drew's campaign register should help you determine how much its worth:-

How much to Pay?

Obviously this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question, but my recommendation is to have a minimum budget of ?2000. Cars under this price will be cheap for a reason, though you might uncover an owner who doesn't know what they have if you're lucky. ?4000 buys you a very nice standard car in good condition, with ?6000 upwards for concours candidates. Most of these later cars will usually have service history and other documents to go along with them.

Look under 'Guides' and then 'Buying a Mk1'

Back to my first question, does anyone know how much I should ask for it.

All original docs loads of history, my pride and joy!

But now own an RB5 scooby and a GSXR and the Golf just lives in the garage gathering dust.
