Hi all,
There has been some uncertainty online about the availability/part number of much sought after GTI Clubsport mats for MK7 in RHD however they are now available to order in the UK,
Part No; 5G2 863 011 BOQV RRP; Approx £130 inc VAT
These will fit all MK7/MK7.5 GTI variants.
If there is enough interest I may be able to supply a limited amount at reduced cost! Pic below;

How do they differ from OEM GTI mats?

Yes as above will fit all MK7/MK7.5 Golf.
They are a supposedly a higher quality carpet then standard, and have GTI badging on both front mats, and a red/grey soft rubber/soft touch edging. They certainly look more special than the standard black mats fitted.

I bought the same mats albeit with white piping for fitting next spring from a VW dealer on eBay for £42 - think they’ll go nicely with mine being a white car - definitely feel plusher than the existing mats, shag pile is back for 2018 :laugh:
You could always get them and two red sharpie and save your self a small fortune :grin:

These are the standard luxury mats, generic for all Golf models and as you say are around the same price as standard mats and are much more readily available!

Have you got a CS? If not, try grabbing a registration off an ebay for sale one, then ask the dealer to input that reg into the system to order a set of mats?

I bought a set from my local VW dealer a couple of weeks ago. They had to get them from the central VW warehouse. The warehouse had four sets left after I purchased mine. They weren’t cheap, £113 ish IIRC.

Yeah, red trim and GTI badge.

Used Hermes recently. Great for sending, if a bit variable for receiving! Very cheap, half Parcelforce price, very easy to use online and very fast delivery. Drop off at a nearby Hermes defined shop.

Just the red piping and GTI logo I'd imagine, not sure why they'd change the quality for limited run out model?

It was a couple years ago now but I stepped directly out of one mk7 into another and didn’t notice any difference in quality with the mats aside from the trims.

I have a new set of the CS mats which I purchased about a year ago for my Gti but never got round to fitting.
Having now brought a set of standard VAG Golf mats I can confirm that there is no obvious difference in quality, as others have indicated just the red edge binding and Gti badge.

Managed to bag me a set on the bay…. Wasn’t sure if they were the club sport matts from the pics, but they arrived today and boom…… near mint a touch of heal wear on drivers Matt, soon brushed out. Gonna use these for the summer and out my all black jobbies back in for the winter months
