Just had my quarterly read of your thread mate(i like to save it for a long read)
Fantastic work mate as usual.

Couple of questions.
Are you purging your pipework when you weld?
Isnt your rear engine mount cast alloy?How did you go about strenghtening it?

Anyway great work mate,look forward to seeing this in the flesh.

yes always purged with argon on the welds on the stainless steel for the Exhaust parts

regarding the bracket, 
if you look closely at the pictures of the engine bracket you will see how it was done. quite a bit had to be cut away which meant it lost its box section strength.. to overcome this i had a solid piece welded inside and them smoothed off from the outside









Had a play with what turned out to be a 400bhp Evo.. and came out on top!!!  car is such a animal!!!

first drive shaft broke today LOL, well, it was the CV joint snapped straight in 2 pieces

all fixed now tho.. nice way to spend a raining Saturday nite

What do you reckon, not strong enough for the power, bad angle due to the cars height or just unlucky?.
