Also try applying directly with companies, instead of using comparison websites, because they get paid for refering you.

You will get better quotes.

Insurance is expensive, but.. I never pick sensible cars!  :laugh:
Im 22 & the mk3 16v gti is 1500 for the year.  Im used to expensive insurance especially after having a R5 GTT as my first car! lol

rubbish! That's what I pay a month lol. My old man was complaining that the insurance on the bay window had gone up. To a crippling £125 a year....

Are you coming to the Basingstoke meet again? I spied the wagon last time but not yourself unfortunately
