Channel the body first I think and probably more than the initial 3 inches.

Sorted out how the rear end sits by fitting those spring plates. Wheels are now sat perfect - slightly posi camber due to no engine and interior. Got someone to stand on it and it made the wheels sit dead straight. But now the body is massively high.

Ah that guy is on the volksrod uk forum. We met him at wheels day up here. Turned out as he got off the ferry he split one of the landrover bags on the back so was driving it chocked up on a bit of wood to get home.

Have a new gearbox for the golf coming so should get mobile again. Payda ina  couple of weeks so I can get the box for bracing the shell up to chop bottom out.

Cheers though! Trying to stay stoked on it so stuff happens.

Pictureless update.

Chopped the box section to size, but couldn't stick it on as me new welding lid was in the post. Got it when I got back home.

Also cut out my seat runners from the floor pan.

Not saying I'm hoping to channel the body next week as whenever i do life gets in the way, so shhh.
