Relay shaft bushes/balls!

Weird, post up a pic and we might be able to help, otherwise send it back an I'll refund your money - what car is it in case other people might face the same problem?

Doesn't sound right whatever it is, orange with a black bit???

Turns out the "black bit" was the insert that was originally white!
The orange was the rubber ball that was almost brand new!
A quick attack with a knife and the plastic bit was free.
a bit of a hammer and the plastic was snug inside the bush.

Feels unbelievably tight and so much better, than what appears to be an almost new bush

Anyway that's me out of stock for the time being (well I have 1 left), but I'm making some more which should be ready sometime next week. Looks like I'll be able to get some of those gear alignment tools done too

I have just got round to buying one Have you any of the gearshift alignment tools done yet? would be loads easier to put my gearbox back in right then

Hmm I all but forgot about the alignment tools - I'm right in the middle of exams so you'll have to excuse me! Will get onto it pronto though.

No worries I am at the stage in my sig so it'll be a few weeks before I can fit it anyway!! I can try a prototype if that makes life easier?
