Mk1 Clipper 1.8 Power

Does anyone know what the 1.8 clipper is like performance wise someone told me 80bhp ? seems a little low are these cars slow ?

this is the one i am looking to buy, what do you lot think ?

Got the same engine in mine running an auto box. I do however have a webber carb conversion so not sure what they are like standard. Its defo not slow. Not overly fast either but all in all pretty dam good really. Im happy with it anyway.

90bhp if its a carb, 112bhp if its fuel injection :)
