does anyone know how to fit rubbing side strips to a mk1 cab

ive got all the strips and clips but i cant get the buggers to stay on


a drink is on offer to anyone who can fit em cause my car looks poo at the min

hi dude, not sure if there the same as the chrome strips i fitted in the summer but with them you have those small white clips which fit in to the holes down the side, then just slide the trip over the top! to get the white clips to stay on you hold it up to the hole and then using something flat put presure on the lug which sticks up, this will then go in to the hole and keep the clip in place.  :smiley:

Yup, should be the same on the cab, the little clips goes into the holes on the body work and then clips onto the inside of the rubbing strip. As toofunky says you may need to apply a bit of pressure to get the clips into the holes, but they should clip into place easily on the rubbing strip.
