i think ive spoilt myself over the last 10 years with an array of BMW's - the Golf definitely feels like a step backwards :-(
Hey ho, live and learn and that ;-)
Ive also got an M3 for sh!ts and giggles so that helps

A bit extreme especially given a Vauxhall Corsa SRI is over £20k! Agree its not £60k's worth but not sub £20k

Don’t buy at the moment the market is nuts used GTI’s are silly money. In fact used cars full stop are silly money!

So anyone want to play the alternative game? I opted to spent £57k and have £3k for a nice watch at that kind of money...Anyone got any good numbers for the lotto?

2012 C63 with 11k Miles for £34,000 - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106083613900?sort=mileage&include-delivery-option=on&make=MERCEDES-BENZ&model=C%20CLASS&radius=1500&year-to=2014&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&aggregatedTrim=C63&postcode=bt275pr&page=1

& a 2018 335D Touring with 25k miles for £23,000 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202108306803481?include-delivery-option=on&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=mileage&radius=1500&exclude-writeoff-categories=on&body-type=Estate&price-to=25000&aggregatedTrim=335d&make=BMW&postcode=bt275pr&model=3%20SERIES&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&page=1

For under £60k I could purchase my dream sleeper of a E63S estate on a 2017 plate.

As much as I love my Golf, there is no way I will pay over £25k for one. New or second hand.

For £5k more I know of a 2019, 3.5k miles, full spec car with buckets....it's a friends car which is too big & fast for me to buy,,,spinning all 4 wheels accelerating in 3rd gear on a dry road is a little unnerving!
