I can check the logs, and it is indeed requesting more boost than the ECU is, so from that respect it is doing what it says. I'm running Map 2.
I don't know if my expectations were just too high going into it, but people talk about them as if they are transformative devices and I've just not been blown away. Puts me off getting a flash remap in the future, really, if I'm going to be disappointed in the same way.
When I first turn it off, I think the car feels slow, but I soon find myself used to it. Likewise, when it first gets turned on, I feel like I can notice it, but it soon begins feeling normal.
As a test, when I had it turned off, I timed 30 to 80 in 4th gear, and it was around 6 seconds dead. With it on.... 6 seconds.
Am I being an idiot and just not using it properly? Is my unit broken? Or are they just placebo devices?
