With brushes?!   .

In the winter i do some automative car wash, but not with brushes.. But it is Worthless will not be clean at all ..

I give away my old detailing products to friends and neighbours it keeps the count down. I only keep the products im currently using. It also helps to stop them thinking im crazy as they slowly get addicted too.
As for drying, I do get a few odd looks as I blow dry the cars..

Ive never used automated car washes or any other type not because of youtube but because you just don't know whats in them.

I bring all my detailing stuff there and only use the pressure washer part of it. Only touch it with my own stuff, except for the water.

Yes.  I took a car to an auto car wash in 2015.  It was the loaner Audi VW gave me whilst waiting for my R to arrive.

I've never taken my own car to a car wash. I was always taught from a very young age that they're bad for paintwork. Growing up my dad's cars used to be covered in fine scratches from the brushes. I imagine modern car washes are better, but i'm far too tight to pay for something I can do myself.

Yes.  I took a car to an auto car wash in 2015.  It was the loaner Audi VW gave me whilst waiting for my R to arrive.

Haven't used an auto wash since 1983 and wouldn't. I'd rather leave my car dirty until I've time to wash it properly.

I bought a new car from a garage in 1986 and they used to put all their new cars through the auto wash prior to customers collecting them. Even back then, in the days of single bucket and sponge washing, I instructed them not to put my car through the car wash!

I will try to blow dry my car next time!!. I haven´t used my air compress yet..
