Ambient lights Club Sport

Just curious why the red stripe lights on the front doors and the LEDs around the door handles are omitted ?

Only where bucket seats are fitted.  Suspect it's down to VW being tight wads.

Don't think the CS has them, no matter what seats are fitted. Strange alright. I can't think why.

No ambient lighting on the the Clubsport irrespective of spec or market the car is sold.

That's bloody strange, that is right up there with no keyless on a 3 door. It is not like the ambient lighting is going to add much weight.

i heard it was removed for the Bucket Seats to be fitted and suspect due to this they left the ambient lights out all together as part of a production process incase the buckets were specified so production coud be quicker through the plant.  Believe me when I say there are some wierd decisions made when it comes to production processes in factories.

I was under the impression if you had leather you got ambient lighting, no idea why though.

Its one thing the clubsport misses imo as came from a MK& GTi PP
