after about 6 hours of cutting/grinding over a 3 day period. Finally parted the head from the block. 10 years of sitting in a barn deffo makes for seized EVERYTHING!!  Next job is to strip head down but going to be a drama as every bolt holding the inlet manifold on is seized & starting to round off. Will get the head reconditioned then will take the block out and put some new rings and bearing shells in,  Will try get some photos up later. Wish I had a nice warm garage to work in!!

Current condition of my engine  have spent ages stripping and cleaning  block now ready for paint then put it all back together  picked up head today .  Would appear had 8 valve guides stuffed but all been sorted now. Bores look good so going to hone them and refit piston and crank with new shells and rings

Sorry guys been a while since I updated. A fair bit has been done. Engine is nearly rebuilt and ready to go back in. Head & cams & Timing belt and water pump on. Just got to got clutch and flywheel and gearbox and will throw it back in the car. At my current rate of chance to work on it that will prob be months.

Quick update, cars come along nicely but having a few running issues  think it's dragging in air from inlet manifold so need to pop it back off and look what's going on

Righto. Well been quite some time since I posted. Work and family commitments plus shocking weather have made for slow progress. However I have now replaced the rotten rear panel. That was fun. Not. Also I have replaced the complete dizzy and new bosch injectors for £200!! Also traced a fault fo the metering head. Waiting a rebuild kit from America at the moment to hopefully cute it. Here's some progress pictures
