Those mileages of shootchucker put mine to shame.  but with a headwind and still 4mpg better than my mk6 on the same run.

Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

Unlocked my car using my telephone.

Always thought that was completely pointless to be honest, but since seeing on here a number of cases of key fob battery dying unexpectedly on key-less cars, thought it sounded like a good back-up.

Bit of a faff to set up (had to re-instal the app after being verified) but now seems to work a treat.

Fitted a new front seat attachment. My new passenger, Bob. So far so good. I’ll need to get him a seat belt.

I love Bob!! When we had our dog, we had a harness for him specifically for use in the car (lots of padding where it went around his chest) which hooked up with the seatbelt.

I have a custom made rear seat cover I’ll use for him the odd time he’s out but I will get a harness for use with the seat belt. Precious cargo!

That’s actually a very bad day. It is remarkable though.

Cleaned, polished and sealed the Brescia's ahead of the winter.
Not that the car will go near a road if there is a hint of salt! :)

Nothing to mine as it's still away having an alloy sorted. So we have been out and about in the Lupo. Normally I don't like being a passenger but actually it's been quite nice for a change, partly as my OH has become a bit more aggressive in her driving style (relatively speaking, it's hard to be aggressive in an 18 year old small under powered car ) but the Lupo is actually quite comfy, roomy enough (ignoring the lack of boot space) and is nippy enough in traffic. And for such an old car, it drives really well, you'd never guess it was it's age.
