Where you guys bought your C2V3 from? Can't seem to find the 100ml in stock anywhere...

i'd buy a bigger bottle than 100ml. It'll do your car once all over with a smidge left - if you're frugal with it. You'll need to do it every 8 months. http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk they give free postage with more than £30 spent. I'd buy 500mL to last you a good 3 years with more frequent treatment of the wheels and door handles. I1 upholstery treatment and maybe some of the G-wash.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

It can treat pretty much everything but your windscreen
MH you can't use this on the windscreen.

That's what I said.

Missed the question mark??  did you use the g1 on the windscreen

Used nothing on the windscreen, almost everything hampers the wipers sweeping cleanly and screenwash alcohol probably would strip it off anyway. Some people swear by rain-X as it beads off the rain above 40mph without using your wipers - but what about rain when you're doing less than 40mph?

Well......I picked my new VW MK7 Golf GTI today.......I have never been ths happy ever!!! I couldn't sleep last night coz I was so damn excited. When I went to pick up the car the sales dude said he could see my smile from the other side of the showroom. He said he had handed over a few other cars and o one looked as happy as I was.

This is my first ever brand new car and first ever VW. It's a cars have drooled over since I was a teenager and I now finally own one!!

I will try and get a pic on tonight and a few more tomorrow some time.

The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and looks FN stunning!!! I can't stop starring at it

Fantastic pal! There's very little more exiting than picking up a brand new car especially if its one you have lust after for so long. Looking forward to seeing the pics of a black GTI

close up didn't work so well. was half asleep to try and get to dealers before all the ramps were taken.

couldn't have been more helpful, (I was ready for a rant) and I was sorted with a new bolt and an apology by 8.30.

Im not as patient as you lot with detailing etc. So have local valeters applying diamond brite and scotchguard just now.

New arrival and quick question
« Reply #1047 on: 17 September 2013, 13:39 »
Hi guys,

I picked up my GTI last week...what a car, I thought the Scirocco was good but this is so much better in pretty much every respect!

I have one quick question though, I have noticed a bit of a creaking noise coming from the steering when on full lock, I think it might be just something that needs a bit of grease, but before I get in touch with the garage (and potentially look like a numpty!) I wondered if anyone else had had this problem on a MK7?

PS Below is a picture of the car in the dealership when I collect it!

Thanks,
Phil
