There is a Black GTD at Robinsons in Stamford, they aren't registering it at the moment but you can go and sit in it.

Interesting that there are no demo GTI's with the 19s around but quite a few of the GTD demos have them - wonder why that is?

joking aside, i think the 19 inch wheels suit the GTD better than GTi because the silver lines in the front match up with the silver edging on the wheels... whereas the GTi red lines dont and think the 18s are a better fit, especially with the PP bigger brakes fill the 18 inch wheels nicely.

I didnt realise but I checked and the PP front brakes are 340mm v 310 on the non PP car so they are noticeably bigger, as well as having vented not solid rear discs, so its not just about the e diff for all the PP non believers

The one downside, the 19 inch wheels on GTD make the brakes look a bit small..

The other downside is that the 19s don't look anywhere near as good as the standard GTD 18s

They look very similar in a "big brother" kind of way to the Nogaros. Santiagos are better for GTI owners to improve the wheels (I really do think GTI got short changed with Austins vs Nogaros). They do make the discs look tiny on a standard GTD and GTI.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
