Test drive weekend

I see vw are advertising a test drive weekend for tommorrow and Sunday. Anyone planning on going ?
I might go just to see the interior etc

I'm going to pop in to have a look in Leicester after a booked test I have in a Volvo v40!  :grin:

Oops sorry guys. I went today and had a look in the gt and another model(unsure of what spec) and I'm very disappointed in the mk7. I know I can't compare a gt to a gti but there is not a lot of changes and I'm not keen on the centre console layout.
The cd player has been moved to the glovebox.

Does anyone use cd's anymore? I don't have an ipod, but when you can get 150+ albums on a 16Gb memory stick, there's little point in carting cd's about.

Tis tru! I was surprised when the dealer told me that it now has a cd multichanger. The use of two sd slots is good and also the ability to use the a hard drive feature too, personally mine will be iPod.

All the media in stuff is in the glovebox.
I didn't feel as if it had changed enough to justify changing from a mk6 …

Well I went into to see the MK7 today and was disappointed, can't make up my mine but it look plain and think it's taken the look of a sports car away and into a family car....maybe when the GTI arrives I might change my mind...

Gotta be honest the R has gotta go some to sway me away from the A45 AMG, might even take a look at the S3 now too.
