when u buy a car from vw you get a weeks free insurance if u get a quote from them

Thats right they do, but I think you have to provide your own insurance when you pick it up. The free insurance is an aid so the dealer can tax the car instead of waiting for your insurance documents to arrive.

How are you getting on with HIC etc Das Auto ? Have you rang them ?

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

Don't count on it, cross divisions/departments will have different specialisms.  Still worth it.

Yes, correct. I had to take my certificate of motor insurance with me when I picked my car up from the dealer.

Sorry to say mate.............massive school boy error!

Have a rethink about this! It's a lot of debt at 19! Also if you have a crash that's your fault then the increase of your insurance will be massive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

End of the day it's your choice so best of luck!
