Evening all,
Fitted coilovers to the car today, aware that the headlamps now need a reset as they’re shooting pretty low now.
Does anyone know how easy this is to do with a VCDS? Or is it a dealer job only to get the LED’s calibrated?
Cheers,

Hi
no need for any of that! There is a hex socket on top of the headlight unit both sides - an allen key in that raises and lowers the headlights. Mine (7.5 GTi with LED headlights) were a touch low so I raised them half a turn. It's really easy to do, best in the dark on a flat straight lane or road, with a cloth over the other headlight you are not adjusting.

Ahh spot on mate thank you for the reply! Is it the white nylon hex?

Wouldn't the rader cruise sensor still need adjusting though?? To compensate for the lower ride height??

It was working fine yesterday evening, previously had a lowered mk7 gtd with no acc issues either.

Yes, the white nylon hex socket- a cross head screwdriver also works.
