Px'ed it for a Mk7 R bit gutted but really looking forward to my new car. Time to start stripping it down and putting it back to standard, lots of goodies for sale!

It was going to be a factory order but I got offered a ridiculous deal on one they had in stock, unregistered and had to go today (before March 1st) technically it is a 16 plate I picked a reg etc but it is registered as a 65 plate. Had everything I wanted and few extras. Taking it easy in it until its got a few miles on it lol!
Lapiz blue, 5 door, DSG, Nav, 19" Pretoria's  are the main things

Took it for a 200 mile drive up to the midlands and back. Combination of motorway miles (mostly) and a fair few countryside B roads made me fall in love with the car again. Had forgotten what a great all rounder they are, from a comfortable cruiser & mile muncher to a B road hot hatch.

Also took the opportunity to treat the car with some Redline S-1 engine cleaner recommended by a fellow member. Averaged 35mpg there and 40 on the way back, and can feel better engine/throttle response.

Had the brake fluid changed and the car MOT'd by Lincoln Volkswagen Specialists. Sailed through with no advisories again, I love this car! :grin:

Great service from the guys at the aforementioned garage too, guy I spoke to this morning has a Mk5 GTI making close to 400hp! Always good to deal with enthusiasts!
