what intake is it? Neuspeed?

Unitronic.

Had a prompt reply off them today, they've forwarded me on to the warranty team...

I quite like the look of my stock engine cover again now though...although top end power has taken a hit

First Mot today on the gti (passed no probs), full service and brake fluid change. 20000 miles on the clock now.

Service receptionist: Would you like your car cleaning?
Me: No thank you
Service receptionist: It's free!
Me: Well it can't be any good then can it!

Had a mk7 golf match diesel with 800 miles on the clock for the day, quite quick for 105ps did seem weird going back to 5speed again, it even had quite a nice growl for a diesel. Rides very well on standard suspension and tyres with actual sidewalls!! Just nothing special to look at. Impressed with the interior, had a play around with the Adaptive cruise control can confirm it definitely works!

Still planning on keeping the gti for another 2/3 years, I look at other cars online all the time, get prices from orange wheels etc. Then everytime I see or get in and drive my car it always wins me over!

Just need to decide whether to take out a vw extended warranty.

Haven't moved the car for nearly 2 weeks as of being on holiday. And got a message off my dad saying that he had bought a MK7 GTI. I'm not jealous at all!!

Got new shoes for the car
I know the hot topic is winter tires but fitted Goodyear eagle f1s, rides unbelievably smooth and cabin certainly feels quieter.
At 95 a corner definitely worth it!
