Nice Chris really like the 5 door white with PP.  every time I think about buying something cheaper as my daily car I see a nice gti pic !

Only thing I would add is sunroof I love the contrast roof line, gf has an A1 with pan roof and love it.

Terrible pictures but all I have until I get a chance to properly get it sorted. No dealer prep so waiting for a couple of days when I can get stuck into giving it a detail.

Picked up the car at 8am on 1 March from Barnetts VW in Dundee - properly decent service from them. Got a lot of goodies thrown in - GTI mug, Thermos Mug, keyring, golf umbrella, few bottles of screen wash and flowers for the missus! Little things make a difference.

Bog standard other than the 19s - which came shod in P-Zeros.





Coming from a Astra J VXR.



A much better quality car all round. Clearly not as much power, but the GTI is much more refined. Had a MK5 GTI before the Astra, so good to be back in VW as I totally regret getting rid of it!!

Well I was torn between the Astra J VXR and the Golf GTI PP - ended up with the Golf but always had that 'should I have gone for the Astra' thought at the back of my mind. You've confirmed I probably made the right choice!

Hi Guys, new on here, but excited to be picking this up on Friday - the forums have provided me with plenty of help over the last few weeks in deciding what to choose, but in the end the budget went out of the window when I clapped eyes on her, and I can collect in a few days - well chuffed!  :laugh:
