Literally just picked up my Oryx White GTI with PP - have to go to a wedding right now (actually I am going to be late due to picking the car up).

Will post some pictures tomorrow - I've only done a few miles in it, but all good so far.  Don't regret the Oryx White, it looks amazing.  If I could upload a quick photo from my phone I would. But not sure how to do it.

Would be great to finally see a Oryx White GTI in photos as I am still waiting for mine and would love to see what I have to look forward to.  If there's one thing VW do really well it's keeping people waiting.  :laugh:

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any pictures of a white GTD with a pano roof? (Their own cars rather than showroom ones). I have one on order and would like to see one for real. Not see any pictures of pano-roofs yet!

The wait for my car is killing me!

Hi All,

Picked up my GTI yesterday, full album here:

Some highlights:









Hard to capture how nice the Oyrx White is in photos - in the sun it looks absolutely stunning. So far I am not actually sure if I prefer it to my Scirocco, feels very high and more disconnected from the road.  The media system does not seem to work as well with my iPhone as the previous one.

Overall I think it is a cracking car, but I have not driven it enough to give a proper opinion yet.  It is an amazing colour though and don't regret paying the extra for the "special" paint.

@pauliem the car looks stunning mate. I can see how difficult the special white is to photograph - I thought it was PW. Better in the flesh eh.

I too share your concerns about the GTI driving position being higher than the Scirocco + slightly less connected to the Tarmac (still bought one though). It could be the electronic steering which will take some getting used to and is very different than the mechanical old school Scirocco.
