Hi,
My build week confirmed as w/c 220913 (this week) but on track my order it hasn't changed to say build in progress, checked with dealer and he says it's still on track but obviously i'm nervous, should I be?
Did this happen to anyone else?

Matchboy virginvwman thanks guys. It's hard work I now know why ppl pay to get it done. But it's a labour of love.

The dealer valeted it contrary to my instructions. It wasn't as hard to clean cos if it but the swirls were peeing me off. The gtechniq is so easy to use. And it feels glass like once applied

Folks,

Long time follower but have never come on here - new GTI Performance coming next week at long last.... Reading that lots of you are detailing new arrivals. I haven't done this before - can anyone recommend a good manual for this or even a good firm that will do it for me (maybe Northern Ireland crew could help?)
Cheers in advance and btw your chariots are all looking spectacular, I am like a kid at Christmas here...

Finally picked her up tonight! Quick showroom photo, it's dark now so will take some more tomorrow.

First impressions after a 25 mile drive back on some nice roads -

Sounds very nice, deep and throaty
Glad I picked leather
Feels so solid on cornering (kept it in Sport)
Zenons are so bright
Love the wing mirror lights shining down to illuminate as you lock or unlock
Really like the interior lighting and instrument lighting

Looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow  :laugh:
