Booked mine in to get the windscreen changed due to a stone off the back of a cement lorry  I'm hoping when they actually see it they'll agree that it can be repaired as I don't think it's that bad.

Through insurance, I assume?

I had loads of repairs to windscreens when I had my Discoveries, it was like a stone magnet. I think if the chip is less than a 5p piece in size and 10cm from an edge, it’s repairable? - been a while so measurements could be wrong - good luck anyway👍

It's just on the black spotted section adjacent to the cameras. Their reasoning was that there are three other chips on the screen but they are really small, pinhead sized.

Through insurance, I assume?

Thankfully yes. Autoglass are doing it including ADAS recalibration and luckily their centre is only 5 minutes drive away.

I’ve just had PS5s fitted ( fronts) on standard 18” wheels.

I wanted the PS4Ss, but didn’t think the extra cost would be worth it. 50% more expensive!

The PS5s aren't available in 19s otherwise I'd have gone for them, but I liked my last set of PS4S' so just happy to go with them again, comfortable, lots of grip in the dry and most importantly hold Gyeon tyre shine really well

I'm on the verge of needing new 18" tyres on the front, will go for PS5s to replace my PS4s.

The tyre reviews say the new PS5s are now the equivalent of the older PS4S's.

I should also say I got 30k miles out of my last set of PS4S' and am only on 3. something mm thread on them, so they're good for a bit longer if you want to go sub 3mm but I'm not one those people.

For many of us earlier mk7 GTi owners having confronted our nemesis in the form of Bridgestone tyres.

It seems the new Bridgestone potenza sport have conquered in the recent Evo & Autoexpress tyre tests.....one to watch?

Just detailed the inside, relocated my dash cam as the windscreen fitter didn't leave it in my preferred location & detailed the engine bay.
